User manual
How it works in 3 steps
- Step 1: Speech recognition is written down (a connection is needed) or message is composed
- Step 2: Source text is sent to a translate motor with source and target language (a connection is needed)
- Step 3: Translation is written down on the taget side and speeched in karaoke mode. No connection is needed
- Nota: Source and target messages can be heard again later offline using speaker icon
How to Speech-to-Speech
- Select source & target language scrolling/tap tableview or filter,
- Tap on the source language microphone icon and talk
- After a blank of 1.5 second, translation is launched
- Read to the translation and listen to it in when it's a speech language (🗣)
How to compose a message
- Select source & target language using tableview or filter,
- Tap on microphone icon and in the speech field,
- Type your message,
- Tap on update icon
- Read to the translation and listen to it when it's a speech language (🗣)
Tips
- Try to make shortest sentences as possible
- Translation accuracy is better when english source or taget is selected
- Select source and target language using the table view or directly typing in the language search
- Tap on the text you want to modify and update the translation or paste some text
- Delete useless messages by swiping left on each of them
- To create a new text, tap directly on the text field to stop recording and type your text
- Pinch on window to zoom in and out the font
Icons
Tap on it and talk. Translation is automatically launched after 1.5 second of silence
Copy the text upon to paste it in an other app
Update the translation according to the side of the arrow
Read the text upon in karaoke mode
Toggle your favorite messages. Those which are older than 100 will be automatically deleted when not favorite on reload
Change the local accent at any time when enabled (not greyed)
Indicates that source and target are the same languages- 🗣 Indicates that this language is a speech language
